Dimanche always had a love for music. Rhymes, licks, raps and rifts filled his mind as he managed his own barbershop. He would ask DJs to spin records at a club near the barbershop in Queens, but he was more interested in music in the club than the party itself. His love for music intensified and there was such a great interest, that he began to handle a couple of local artists in Queens while running the barbershop. Recognizing he'd be unhappy until he fulfill his musical dreams, he put down his clippers and eyed Sean “P Diddy” Combs and Russell Simmons, pioneers he respected, not just for musicianship, but also for their capability, and creativity in the business industry. He then decided to emulate their success.
Dimanche got his first break when Bad Boy Records executive Harve Pierre introduced him to the industry and started as an intern. He'd climb from intern in 1998 to senior director of A&R for Bad Boy Records. Though he left Bad Boy in 2007, he worked as a consultant on their behalf throughout 2008, and restarted his business goals, first with PMPworldwide.com, a web-based music related company online and then a year later, he began
The Firm, his A&R consulting company. Whats next for the man behind various platinum selling artists? The Sky Is The Limit!
